The new Luminor 1950 Tourbillon GMT Titanio joins the “Lo Scienziato” collection, which was at first dedicated to the Genius of Galileo Galilei, whose discoveries paved the way to the development of mechanical watches. This special edition sees remarkable technical changes this year. The P.2005 mechanical calibre with tourbillon regulator is now skeletonized and made for the first time ever of Titanium. Staying faithful to Panerai’s unmistakable identity, this timepiece features a 47mm-diameter case in brushed titanium, a skeleton hand-wound mechanical movement supplied with a P.2005/T calibre and entirely developed by Panerai, a 144-hour power reserve, a 10-bar water resistance and an anthracite alligator strap – which creates the ideal harmony with titanium.

The “Radiomir 1940” family also sees the addition of new members. The Radiomir 1940 3 Days GMT Automatic is supplied with the P.4001 movement and the Radiomir 1940 3 Days GMT Power Reserve Automatic with the P.4002 movement. The two new calibres also feature useful additional functions:  the date, the
GMT function with a central hand which indicates the time in a second time zone, am/pm indication relative to home time in the small seconds dial and finally, indication of the remaining power reserve. Along with the 45mm-diameter case in polished steel, the watch with brown leather straps features a black dial with straps, a 72-hour power reserve and a 10-bar water resistance. The version with a black leather strap comes with a black dial with Paris hobnails.

The new Luminor 1950 3 Days uses the Luminor 1950’s historic 47mm-diameter case made of polished stainless steel. The brown dial is what sets it apart and the P.3000 calibre can be seen from the back. Along with the 72-hour power reserve, comes a 10-bar water resistance.
