There are a few things that could bring back the sweet memories of spring and Carolina Herrera’s Spring-Summer 2020 collection is definitely one of them. With Wes Gordon at the helm of the big Fashion House, one would only expect a meticulous reinterpretation of the Maison’s moniker codes and values. But the designer saw Herrera’s symbolic enchantment and doubled its imprint. In the fashion world, that means a hint of floral prints, a dash of fluid and feminine silhouettes and a galore of colors and patterns. He sent out models in button- down shirts and poplin maxi skirts at times, and others in cinched-at-the-waist dresses with wildflower patterns and psychedelic colors at other times. The prints were so abundant that one would definitely get lost in the maze of polka dots, stripes and checkered patterns. Our personal favorite? Why most definitely that gorgeous strapless yellow gown with flowers appliques scattered all over it!
