With a new Voyager show in Shanghai presenting Louis Vuitton's Prefall 2024 collection, Nicolas Ghesquière pursues an exploration that caps ten years of creativity at the House. Presented at the Long Museum, the collection is an echo of earlier designs renewed with unbridled freedom of tone and form. It reflects the roots of a noble French fashion House and the distinctive emblems that make it unique with an exuberance of color and joyfulness that salutes the tremendous stylistic vitality of China's youth. In fact, this collection came to life with the young contemporary artist Sun Yitian, whose charming, figurative bestiary enlivens contrasted silhouettes.

In all their forms, Sun Yitian’s animals will be memorably linked to the Louis Vuitton Prefall collection as an artistic expression rendered with fun and fantasy. Known for her photorealistic paintings of toys and other mass-produced objects, she has collaborated on an exclusive series that colorfully animates the Prefall collection, spanning ready-to-wear, leather goods, trunks, accessories and fragrances.
