When you hear “Western”, you typically think of “cowboys” and whatnot; but that’s not necessarily the subject at hand. We don’t want you to ride on a horse and stroll through the desert. That said, the western look has become a wardrobe mainstay ever since the Fall/Winter 2017-2018 runways presented a united front for this vintage style. There were leather jackets, cowboy boots and – yes, you’ve guessed it – cowboy hats. The result was pretty much outstanding, so much so that half the world hopped on the western-wagon.

The thing about the western look is that it’s so versatile, it works in almost every situation; whether you’re just out and about or you have a big date night, it’s got you covered! Just pick one item, and you’ll be channeling the cowgirl persona in you in no time! The trick is to make sure that one western-y element compliments your style effectively. You could also mix two items together, such as a leather belt with cowboy boots, or a vintage dress with a cowboy hat. And keep in mind that one good piece can totally make an outfit, but if worn badly, it can leave an otherwise stylish person looking outdated.

Sift through the Photo Gallery below to view some of the best Western picks we’ve picked for you.
