The Lady Dior bag was initially called Chouchou and made its first appearance with Lady Diana in November 1995, when she carried it on an official trip to Argentina after the First Lady of France had gifted it to her before even being launched. However, this was nothing but the beginning, as this distinguished accessory became one of Lady Di’s must-haves that we later on witnessed her carrying on almost all of her outings.
Charmed more than ever, she requested another navy-blue version to match her eye color. This relationship granted Lady Diana the title of the bag’s godmother and the marvelous bag itself a fixed place in our hearts as one of Dior’s iconic pieces after changing its name to pay Lady Diana the tribute she deserves.
