In her first collection for Tiffany & Co, the brand’s Design Director Francesca Amfitheatrof looked to her purist vision to create a collection dominated by geometric angles and clear defined lines that further reflected the boldness of American modern design.

Amfitheatrof regards ‘Tiffany T’ collection as a tribute to Tiffany’s name thanks to the letter T. The vertical shape evokes the power of New York City’s vibrant and energetic spirit. Amfitheatrof was influenced by the European, Asian and Russian cities she was raised in, as well as different places she visited around the world.

“While designing the ‘Tiffany T’ pieces, I thought about globetrotters, as they are interesting and highly creative people living in international cities,” she said. Francesca believes that “the power and simplicity of ‘Tiffany T’ grabs the attention of those explorers, as this jewelry collection adds energy to an already vibrant personality.”

Made of 18-carat pink, yellow or white gold, Tiffany T jewelry pieces take the shape of a beautiful, simply curved T letter. The collection features fine bracelets, bangles, ascending chains, pendants, rings and earrings that carry a fine poetic touch. While the pieces are also available in pure silver, Amfitheatrof included warm white and striking black colored porcelain in some designs.

Graphics reminiscent of last century’s 20s, found in Tiffany’s archives, were also a source of inspiration, more specifically for some of the diamond-set pieces. “These graphics show the diamonds that were set in an energetic, pure and flawless way, adding to it a touch of modernity recognizable from the first sight,” said Amfitheatrof.
