Following in the fashion footsteps of her mother French artist Vanessa Paradis, Karl Lagerfeld has appointed Lily-Rose as the face of Chanel's new Pearl eyewear collection. The aspiring actress plays a baby-doll character living in a world of sweet retro-infused femininity. 

"Lily-Rose is stunning, she's a young girl from a new generation with all the qualities of a star," said Karl Lagerfeld. As Chanel's new leading ambassadors stem more and more from a younger audience, Lili-Rose perfectly embodies the House's daring, confident, bold youth. 

A personal friend of Lagerfeld's, mother Vanessa Paradis has been a Chanel ambassador since 1990, the very year she was awarded a César Award for Most Promising Actress for her intriguing role in Noce Blanche. This year, both mother and daughter took part in Chanel's Haute Couture Fall-Winter 2015-16 show at the Grand Palais.
