Renowned manicurist Jenny Longworth used Christian Louboutin Beauté nail polish Lady Page to reflect the spirit of Michael Van Der Ham’s Fall ’15 collection showcased during London Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2015.
“Ladylike and romantic, the Michael Van Der Ham girl ritualizes her beauty regime. Echoing the color palette of the collection, the luxurious nail mirrors the expensive hand-embroidery and rich three dimensional textures of the cloth. Lady Page, a deep plum, is layered on a short ‘squoval’ nail brought to a high shine with Loubi Gloss, creating a lacquered finish reminiscent of the iconic Louboutin sole,” said Longworth.
To complete this beauty look, Longworth started with one coat of Loubi Primer followed by deep plum colored Lady Page. To make sure the result had a shiny finish, she applied Loubi Gloss.
Though it resembles black from afar, it does not have that stern punk rock look that black usually exudes. The deep plum is a wonderful way to wear dark nail polish without having that outdated grunge look. It works perfectly for dinners and parties alike, as witnessed worn with Michael Van Der Ham's collection of strong, ultra-feminine looks.
