This year’s largest event dedicated to horology in the region, Dubai Watch Week (DWW), presents a forum on the Art of Horology.
Curated by Her Highness Sheikha Latifa Bint Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoom and supported by Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, the forum will welcome over 20 speakers, including watch curators, authors, historians, writers, collectors, brands and industry professionals to discuss various topics about watchmaking.
The first of its kind in the Arab region, the Art of Horology forum reinforces the role of the watch industry in the Middle East and gives the public the opportunity to deeply discover the field of watchmaking. Themes such as innovation, creativity and design will be discussed by a list of speakers that include Aurel Bacs, President of the Jury of the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève, watch journalist and author Elizabeth Doerr, founder and editor of TheWatchesTV.com Marc André Deschoux, scholar and collector Auro Montanari and luxury specialist Nazanin Lankarani.
