It is so difficult finding an easy updo that doesn't look like you spent hours in the salon. A romantic soft-looking bun with a twist is a great way to look put together but also natural and undone. For a surprisingly easy up, follow these steps. It is really easier than it looks! 

First tease the crown of your hair for added volume. 

Then, make a deep side part, clip away your crown and tie a big section in one side of your hair in a ponytail. This should be the side that you normally part your hair. So now we have one pony tail on the side and one on the top of your head, now take all the remaining hair and put it in a ponytail as well. This will be your main bun.

Make a messy bun and pin it in place but don't make it too tight since this is a softer look. However, make sure it is secure as this will be the base. 

Take the crown (remove it from the pony tail) and twist it and then wrap it around your bun. Do the same thing with the side section as well but pull back above your ear and twist and wrap around your bun. You can do this in one chunk or break it up into pieces.  

Make sure everything is in place and tuck in any out of place hairs with your fingers. Set with a hairspray and voilà!
