For the day, Joshi uses Amber Times Nine Palette to achieve the look. Follow these easy steps:
Step 1- Using M.A.C. brush #217, apply Rice Paper (light golden color) on the eyelids and then intensify the inner corners of the eyes.
Step 2- Line the eyes with Eye Kohl in Teddy (one of my all-time favorite brown liners)
Step 3- Smudge Aromatic (matte brown) eyeshadow under the eyes to create a smoky effect.

Intensify your look for the night using the Purple Times Nine Palette. This palette’s purple undertones will bring out the gold in your own natural eye color, making your eyes look lighter.
Step 1- Line your eyes with Eye Kohl in Feline (black liner)
Step 2- Using the M.A.C. brush #219, apply Satellite Dreams (purple shade) under the lower lash line and blend well to create a dreamy effect.
Step 3- Use cream color base in Pearl (light shimmery shade) on the eye lids, also to intensify the eyeshadow’s color (I like to use my ring finger to apply it)
Step 4- In the inner corners of the eyes apply Poignant (lavender shade) and Bon Nuit (deep plum shade) on the outer corners of the eyes with M.A.C. brush #224
Step 5- Line the eyes with Boot Black Liquid Liner and slightly extend the line to create a kitten effect. Build up the lashes with Haute and Naughty Mascara.
Thanks to Vimi Joshi, a specialist in Red Carpet Glamour who has an impressive list of editorials including Vogue, we can all be Red Carpet ready in five steps or less. The only question left is, which
Eyes on M.A.C. Palette to get? As for me, I'll take them all!
