This season, British shoe and accessories brand Charlotte Olympia joins forces with rising contemporary artist Noé Sendas to present its Fall 2015 campaign. Photographed by Billal Taright, the campaign is inspired by mid-century interiors, furnishings and precious family heritage.
The Berlin-based and Belgian-born artist is known for giving his piece of art a new meaning by removing elements from the object on focus. Elegant yet strangely unsettling, Sendas’ images capture ghostly figures with invisible heads and limbs or seemingly blended into the image’s background.
Named ‘A World of Interiors’, the brand’s latest collection is also reminiscent of mid-century aesthetic. In addition to clean shapes, daring colors and seductive prints, a touch of Rococo style is reflected through the designs.
“It was a pleasure to work with such a talented artist who shares my nostalgia for old Hollywood glamour and whose unique style captured the essence of this collection,” says Charlotte Dellal. “My ambition was to produce imagery that encapsulates both contemporary and timeless qualities.”
‘A World of Interiors’ collection is available at Charlotte Olympia boutique in Mall of the Emirates and on www.charlotteolympia.com.
