On Friday September 18th, McQ Alexander McQueen will unveil its Spring 2016 collection through its social channels and digital flagship, McQ.com. Reflecting the brand’s eclectic spirit, the spring-summer ‘16 collection will be seen through the eyes of three new young talents.

Known for supporting emerging artists, McQ’s partnerships give upcoming and established talents a platform to express their creativity, and this season is no exception. Set in Spitalfield’s Christ Church, a landmark with a rich history for the house of Alexander McQueen, the young photographers and filmmakers Lea Colombo, Jack Davison and Sharna Osborne reinterpret the collection through a series of short videos, character studies and detail shots.

The collection will explore New York’s Post Punk ‘No Wave’ scene from the late 70s and early 80s. It captures the spirit of punks and club kids up until now. A fusion of androgyny, rebellion and strength, reminiscent of the 70s, make for an ideological conflict that is at the heart of all McQ stories.
