On the occasion of Mall of the Emirates’ 10th anniversary, Tod’s exclusively gives its iconic Gommino a makeover. Available in a women’s version and another for men, Tod’s new limited-edition shoes, LEO, features a metal detail that embodies the traditional techniques of hot metal-casting.
Manufactured with over 100 steps, every Gommino shoe requires up to 35 leather pieces, each checked and treated by hand before being assembled. Requiring developed skills and expertise, the hand-work reflects the values of true Italian shoe-making.
For women, the loafers come in calf skin with a metallic color effect and handmade stitching details. In order to add a touch of elegance and brightness to the design, the mini-Leo clamp is made of light golden metal and is beautifully set with rhinestones.
The men’s Gommino is made of python leather in natural stone color with contrasting handmade stitches, while the Leo clamp comes in silver metal.
Tod’s limited-edition Leo Gommino is only available at Mall of the Emirates starting October 2015 in 30 pairs for women and 15 pairs for men.
