Gabrielle Chanel loved spending summers in the Mediterranean. Inspired by the roaring twenties, the majestic sapphire colored Riviera sky and effortlessly chic lifestyle, CHANEL releases their latest summer line Collection Méditerranée.
 
As much as I loved all the vibrant blue and green colors which reminded me of the glistening sea, I chose to keep my colors more neutral to flatter my Middle Eastern skin tone. For a pop of color, I chose classic red nails that are reminiscent of the 20’s.
 
My favorite part of the collection is the golden shimmer illuminating powder that is so beautiful over a tanned summer complexion. Lumière D’Été glows with just a few strokes. 
 

EYES
I love the STYLO EYESHADOW in Caroube because it is so easy to use. A no-fuss eye shadow stick is perfect for a low maintenance summer night. The warm brown color is flattering for all skin tones. Either use this as a liner or all over the lid for a more dramatic look.
 
LIPS
Reveuse is a delicate golden pink, which pairs up flatteringly with a darker eye.

NAILS
LE VERNIS NAIL COLOUR 717 Coquelicot is the perfect summer red for hands and feet.
 

With or without a tan, these colors will warm up your complexion and make you feel like you just spent the summer in the Mediterranean.  Lets face it, what more could a lady ask for?
