Repetto, the one and only ballerina shoe maker, is set to expand its ever more fashion-centric line with new designer collaborations. This time, the French brand joined forces with Olympia Le Tan, Crazy Animals and Sarah Chofakian and not to mention the revival of a design first created 200 years ago as well as an exclusive pair created to mark the 150th anniversary of Printemps Haussmann.
For fall, Olympia Le Tan revisited the classic ‘Cendrillon’ ballerinas and created them in crepe silk complimented with delicate embroidery.
Talk about revival, the house brought back a pair originally designed two centuries ago by Christopher Phillipe Oberkampf called the ‘ZIZI’ Oxford floral print shoe and ballerina flat.
The brand Crazy Animals revisited the brand’s original Oxford shoe and introduced the ZIZI ZEBRA in a bold colored red and silver striped design that certainly packs an impact.
To celebrate the anniversary of one France’s leading department stores Printemps Haussmann, Repetto released a wonderfully gold lamé pointed ballerina outlined with a grosgrain trim.
Brazalian designer Sarah Chofakian brings in her personal sense of style to Repetto’s Musette line by designing for the modern and active Repetto woman. The line offers classics with a touch of old-school glamour in black and red chéri.
