With the inaugural edition well underway, Dubai Watch Week partners up with the world’s leading auction house Christie’s to unveil the week’s major event, the Vision Timepiece auctions. Organized by Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, the event will donate the auctions’ proceeds to Dubai Cares, the Emirati global charity organization that aims at providing children in developing countries with quality education.

Two key timepieces will be auctioned during DWW: the limited-edition Hublot Dubai Editions of the Vision I and Vision II watches. The Vision – I was designed by Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons and engineered by Hublot’s craftsmen in Switzerland. Developed and named as a tribute to UAE’s Vice President and Prime Minister and Dubai’s Ruler His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, it is the first titanium watch in the house’s history and features red-gold numerals and gold screws.

The huge success of the first Hublot Dubai Limited Edition watch has led to the creation of another timepiece, Vision – II. Also designed by Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons and engineered by Hublot’s craftsmen in Switzerland, this titanium watch comes with rose-gold Arabic numerals.

“We are extremely honored to be supporting the efforts and dedication of Dubai Cares, an organization that has so far made a difference in the lives of more than 14 million beneficiaries in 41 developing countries. Education is one of the most important needs in a child’s life and we hope that collectors will show generous support for Dubai Cares programs around the world through the auctions of the Hublot Dubai Editions, Vision I and Vision II during Dubai Watch Week,” said Mohammed Abdulmagied Seddiqi, Chief Operating Officer at Seddiqi Holding.
