The Top 10 Nail Shades for Fall

It's time for a manicure but with the start of fall what color do I chose? This is always such a long process, with so many brands and fun new shades to choose from, I narrowed it down to a list of ten favorites for Fall.

10) Starting off with the safest choice; the dark vampy shade. A perfect color for all occasions and outfits, this has been my fall obsession for years. I can't talk about dark colors without mentioning my all-time favorite Revlon shade in Vixen. Not too dark, not too purple and not too brown, it's just right. This one is a no brainer!

9) NARS is always my go-to for all things edgy. NARS Nail Polish in Amarapura is the perfect silver that almost looks like your nails are covered with ice.

8) I have been wanting to try this color for ages but I think fall is the perfect time to try this out. It always looks so chic on everyone and the name is so cute. OPI's You Don't Know Jaques is a brownish grey tone that is a great mix of dark and light, making it the perfect fall neutral.

7) Green? Ok maybe green sounds over the top but if done correctly it can be very chic. Burberry's Dark Bottle Green is like a deep rich green that reminds me of corduroy jeans or dark winter sweaters. This would pair up nicely with a burgundy lip.

6) All black everything! If you are going dark just go all the way. This moody color will bring out your inner diva. China Glaze in Liquid Leather – the name alone already sounds so tempting.

5) If black is a little too edgy for you, try OPI Nail Lacquer in Lincoln Park After Dark which is great shade of super dark purple. I love their description "where midnight meet purple" and how cool is the name?

4) I still love red for fall. I believe red is a color that should be worn all year round. It's so classic and looks good on every single skin tone. You can't think of red without thinking of Louboutin, his Classic Red nail color will be a favorite forever.

3) Ever since I started using the Chanel Blue Rhythm Collection I have been obsessed with dark blue nail polish, I found something similar in a gel color by Essie in Deeply Intimate Blues. Even the name kind of matches.

2) I am a huge fan of anything rose gold. It looks so great on our Middle Eastern skin tone and combines gold and pink hues together. Essie's Penny Talk has it all; sensual, modern and on-trend.

1) Last but not least, a lighter shade. I know it's fall but only wearing dark colors will drive me crazy. I love change and I have to go from light to dark every week. If you are like me and are so scared of leaving the pinks and nudes behind, I have a perfect solution for you. I've never really been into mauves before but Orly's Flawless Flush is such a girly shade. Not sure if it's mauve, lilac or like those blush pinks I keep seeing everywhere, all I know is it looks great and has a very light gold sparkle to give it that winter dreamy feel!
