After the success of Baume & Mercier’s partnership with Carroll Shelby International Inc. met with the launch of two exclusive limited-edition watches, Baume & Mercier announced a second collaboration with the company. The result of this partnership is a one-of-a-kind Capeland Shelby® Cobra timepiece that will be auctioned off at Antiquorum in New York City on December 9th.

Inspired by the graphic identity codes of the Shelby Cobra racecar, the new timepiece features an extremely subtle sporty chronograph, an off-white dial with sky blue stripes, darker blue accents on the dial and hands, as well as a 44 mm polished 18-carat red-gold case. The watch’s strap comes in grained black calfskin with rounded blue alligator lining, gray stitching and an 18-carat red-gold buckle. The fly back chronograph is driven by a Swiss-made mechanical self-winding movement produced by the Manufacture La Joux-Perret.

All the proceeds will be donated to the Carroll Shelby Foundation, aiming at helping families and children affected by heart diseases. It also provides schooling and education for underprivileged young people in the US.

“We are very proud to partner with the Carroll Shelby Foundation. Our agreement is nurtured by a similar philosophy. The elegance of the lines, the attention to high quality, and commitment to humanism are some of our common characteristics,” said Alain Zimmermann, CEO of Baume & Mercier.
