Next Level Brows: Anastasia Beverly Hills

I've had the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Powder Duo for years because it lasts forever. Once I switched to a pencil I noticed that I missed the feathery look of the powder, so I reordered this in Medium Brown. The artist taught me that instead of making little hair-like strokes, using the light side of the duo powder, I need to "stamp" the product in. Since the powder brush is about the length of an eyebrow hair it mimics a brow hair. Do this all along the brow starting from where the eyebrow starts. Once you have a few diagonal lines as a guide, brush hair down and fill in empty spaces with a powder. Tilt you head back a bit, to see where you need to fill in on the bottom. Use the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz to draw long lines to fill out the spaces on the bottom to create that perfect arch.

I also mentioned that I sometimes like to make my eyebrows look a little lighter, so she suggested to use the Anastasia Beverly Hills Tinted Brow Gel in Brunette to set the brows and also make them appear a shade lighter.  Using the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Duality in Shell Lace, use the matte side to clean up the eye area, including covering up hair's that are in the process of growing out between tweezing. Using the highlight side, only highlight the top and bottom of the brows from the arch to the end to give you an added lift.

She also recommended that I use the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Enhancing Serum Advanced to help my eyebrows grow out faster. I love using the Anastasia Beverly Hills Eyebrow Stencils to fill in my brows and to see where to pluck and not to pluck.

When you think of brows, Anastasia Beverly Hills is the go-to brand for all your brow needs!

I recently had the pleasure of working one on one with a Anastasia Beverly Hills makeup artist to learn more about how to use their brow products. The look I wanted to achieve was the "ombre" brow I keep seeing. I told her I usually just use a brow pencil but she let me in on the secret to getting this updated brow look.

Although I honestly use my twist-up pencils almost every day because it's so fast and easy and as result they seem to run out so quickly. For the days that I have a little more time I wanted to learn how to use a few products to get the "Brows on Fleek" brows like the girls on Instagram! I ordered a few items from NET-A-PORTER but I could use some help using them in the right order.

Find out what I learned in the Photo Gallery.
