With every new season, comes a new designer to steal the spotlight. This spring will mark the rise of Arnaa, a new shoe concept embodying the true and refined Italian footwear art.
Farah Sultan, the woman behind this original collection, resides in the Middle- East but produces her footwear in Italy, in order to offer exclusive and sophisticated luxury shoes to women. After attaining her BA in Design Management, Shoe Technical Design, Pattern Making and Leadership, she moved to Milan to study the art of handmade shoe making, at the famed Arsutoria School. Her constantlove for high-end shoes, in addition to her collaboration with the best Italian manufacturers, create the perfect recipe for success.
While taking us on a trip to the 1920’s to honor Helen Dryden’s illustrations on Vogue magazine covers, her first shoe collection is expected to produce massive waves this upcoming season. These timeless and ageless designs fit all women and offer an avant-gardistand retro feel.
The use of the finest materials, such as leather, is depicted through the distinguished Italian craftsmanship and marks the true essence of meticulousness and precision.
The diversified collection puts into sight the Jaya and Taranto black shiny nappa sandals garnished with pink and blue embroidered leather orchids.
Carlotta ballerina and Fioli Mary Jane showcase a cherry blossom pattern on aqua blue or lime green nappa, while shedding the light on an extremely sophisticated embroidery.
An ode to the 50’s is clearly portrayed in some of the designs, combined with a palette of contemporary colors: Suva, a fuchsia pump with a striped tongue and glossy black heels, Malacca, a black d’Orsay pump in nappa with black and white details. On the other hand, Kirsten introduces a colorful mix of orange and pink, while the Lotus mule presents a mix of purple and lime green.
Jura, the curved- shaped heel comes in two versions: classic red or rose gold.
The mirror rose gold color is manifested as well through the shiny accents of the open toe Protea, which can be found in purple and in blue.
However, what would a shoe collection be without classic and chic ballerinas? Arnaa presents Wei in red and purple with flower embroideries and Yeomiji in black or orange version with leather lace. All of which showcase a black and white piping profile as distinctive detail.
