This month, Estee Lauder announces the worldwide release of the new lipstick collection NEW Pure Color Envy Matte Lipstick, created in collaboration with its own spokesmodel Joan Smalls, who personally hand-picked the shades.

The statement is of clear nature:  Be a voice, not an echo and have the confidence of a supermodel. If you feel good, you will look good.

When asked about it, Joan Smalls had only one thing to say: “It was so cool collaborating with Estée Lauder on this collection. I brought in swatches of shades I thought would be great and then we talked about different formulas and finishes. I love a bold, matte lip. It’s so chic – so that’s what we made. They’re perfect”.

It’s effect? A one of a kind matte feel. Not only do the colors vary from rich purples to fiery orange hues, but its application is as smooth as its constituents. You can finally bathe your lips in a light-weighted, highly pigmented and super rich texture with just one uniformed layer stroke.
