A new chapter begins for Swiss luxury watch manufacturer Ulysse Nardin and its exclusive retail partner in Dubai, Ben Hendi Enterprises. Partners for over two decades, they officially opened the brand’s largest boutique in the world at the Dubai Mall in the presence of Ben Hendi Enterprises’ President Mohi-Din Bin Hendi and Ulysse Nardin’s CEO Patrik P. Hoffmann.
Before the launch, Ulysse Nardin showcased for the first time their remarkable musical ‘Vivaldi’ watch at the exhibition, which was held between January 28th and January 31st at the Dubai Mall, right before it hits Basel World 2015 fair in March. Available in a limited edition of 99 pieces, the ‘Vivaldi’ timepiece is made of 18-carat rose gold. It combines tradition and technology, and reminds wearers of their nostalgic childhood.
Known for doing things differently, the brand honored its nautical history by replacing the usual ribbon cutting by a rope unknotting. After the official inauguration, media and VIP guests enjoyed a cocktail party while listening to the tunes of a violinist. Guests were escorted afterwards to the exhibition held at the Grand Atrium of the Dubai Mall, where a 10x10m stand featured the ‘Vivaldi’ watch and other innovative timepieces.
Ulysse Nardin’s biggest boutique also features a section dedicated for after sales services. “We are thrilled to be opening Ulysse Nardin’s biggest boutique in the world with our esteemed and long-standing partners, the Bin Hendi Group. Dubai is one of the most prime retail destinations in the world and the perfect dwelling for Ulysse Nardin’s biggest boutique thus also reinforcing the importance of Dubai and the Middle East market and patrons to the brand,” said CEO Patrik Hoffmann.
