In an event filled with VIPS and representatives from the Swiss watchmaking industry, the Grand Prix de l’Horlogerie de Genève 2015 presented this year's winners. Swiss watch manufacturer Hublot received the prestigious “Ladies Best Watch” award for its Big Bang Broderie timepiece.
“We are proud to be recognized today in the "Ladies" category with our iconic product Big Bang. The Big Bang Broderie is a perfect illustration of the Swiss innovation, combining two crafts of Swiss tradition,” declared Jean-Claude Biver, President of LVMH Watch Division and Chairman of Hublot, who was present at the Grand Théâtre de Genève to receive the award.
In line with Hublot’s vision of connecting the past to the future, the Big Bang Broderie watch is a fusion of Swiss tradition, creativity and 21st-century technology. Embodying femininity par excellence, this timepiece features fine Saint Gall embroidery – a Swiss ancestral art – as a tribute to the memory of our ancestresses’ needlework. Exuding a rebel spirit, the timepiece includes a skull design on the dial framed with 11 diamonds.
