Ever since Alessandro Michele took over Gucci’s realm, the brand has seen a refreshing contemporary perspective that has put it back on the fashion map. While the past has witnessed trends that were seasonal in context, a new language is being spoken today. Gucci’s trends have become growing ones that are individualistic more than they are fashionable.
The Gucci woman is contemporary and her urban flair sets her apart. She is immediately recognizable, chooses who she wants to be and expresses herself without boundaries.
For Cruise 2016, Alessandro Michele stuck to his vision and presented a collection like no other. The New York streets were his runway, as if he was reflecting the liberty of his women.
Trend-setting items were seen during the show and there’s no need to tell you how impatiently we waited for them to hit the stores. Gucci has delivered everything its women would crave, from the arabesque canvas, the Vintage Web Boston and GG marmont leather bags, to the metallic leather pumps, crossover sandals, leather and GG lace-up boots.
