Bulgari pays tribute to the 25th edition of the Doha Fair with a set-up reminiscent of Bulgari’s famed via Condotti 10 flagship store and a magnificent 1,021ct Zambian Emerald High Jewelry necklace.
Conceptualized by renowned architect Peter Marino, the architecture and materials of the stand take inspiration from the historic Roman store. Much like the interior of the boutique, striking breccia di serravezza marbles adorn the main entrance of the stand. An eight-pointed marble star and walnut flooring in star patterns make the base. The Elizabeth Taylor lounge and the Maglia Pantheon bronze lattice-work screen both recall the ornaments of the flagship boutique.
From its start, Bulgari has treated colored stones as the focal point of their incredible designs – revolutionizing jewelry design with innovative and daring combinations. Through a harmony of colors, rare gemstones are combined with relatively inexpensive stones to produce magnificent works of art.
It’s only appropriate that Bulgari would honor the 25th edition of the Doha Fair with a creation such as the 1,021ct Zambian Emerald High Jewelry necklace as it employs all the elements of the Italian brand’s expertise – a perfectly harmonious formation of rare gemstones. The necklace features 94 round Zambian emerald beads (1,021.40 ct), detachable pair of earrings in pink gold, 24 buff-top rubies (2.12 ct), 4 pear shaped brilliant cut diamonds (2.32 ct ), and pavé diamonds (11.52 ct).
