Featuring eight styles inspired by the British beauty’s travels and by her unparalleled fascination with the sun, moon and stars, the “Poppy Delevingne x Aquazzura” resort capsule will be available exclusively at the Level Shoe District in the Middle East, starting December 2015.
Being a timeless globetrotter, Delevingne found her inspiration in a pair of earrings she discovered at a boutique in St Tropez, showcasing the sun, the moon and the stars. Little did she know that this item would not just be another addition to her sophisticated wardrobe, but au contraire, the start of a new mystical adventure. She then spent hours and hours in the archives of the renowned Aquazzura creator, Edgardo Osorio, vividly exploring the Arabian Nights theme.
Osorio said “I’ve always admired Poppy and I love her style: a very English mix of kooky and chic. We wanted to capture the tone of her wedding in Morocco – mystical and romantic, but interpreted in a way that felt very charming and English. I met her and instantly adored her; she was wearing AQUAZZURA shoes, so it seemed like a good match.”
The collection comprises mystical and glamourous designs, exuding a romantic feel like no other. You will find yourself surrounded by elegant suede heeled boots that hit the ankle or go over the knee, laced-up heeled sandals in signature cashmere-suede and precious metallic lighting up with dashes of coral and turquoise, statement jeweled flat sandals adorned with celestial symbols, lace-up ballerina shoes and exotic espadrilles. All of which will be presented in a signature navy AQUAZZURA dust bag and box, sprinkled with stars, to add a bit of mystique.
