In 2003, Franck Muller’s Crazy Hours timepiece opened a new chapter in the innovative approach to the notion of time. Since its earliest launches, the watch hands have always moved in a chronological order from 1 to 12.

Offering a new way to read time, this timepiece has a personal and unique value. Its dial sees an unconventional numeral order yet the time remains precise. The innovative technology and mechanism make the central hour hand jump chronologically from one to twelve, while the central minutes hand moves conventionally.

After meeting great success, Franck Muller created a crazier model using this revolutionary way of reading time, the Totally Crazy watch. In addition to this one-of-a-kind reading style of the hour, the house’s “mad” craftsmen came up with a new way to read the date. Beside the uncoordinated central hour hand, this crazier version features an unconventional circular date indicator.
