Easy, Quick Festive Hair

As much as I love make up, let’s face it, it's also all about the hair. If your hair is perfectly styled you can throw on some sunglasses and still look glamorous. This festive season, wouldn’t it be fun to change it up with some bangs? What inspired me for this change was Kendall Jenner’s updo at the American Music Award’s. Ok I admit, I haven’t chopped them yet, but I think this look is so perfect for winter. During the hot summer seasons, bangs can be a bit of a pain since it can make you sweat and flatten out. December is the perfect time to have them, and what a fun way to completely change your look without having to chop off your entire hair. Bangs are such a classic sexy look, but let me warn you, sometimes they can go completely wrong. I suggest going to your hairdresser to get it done and not do this at home, no matter how tempted you are.

Sounds like too much of a commitment? Fake it. Put your hair in a pony tail and then move a small section of your hair to the front to create a fringe. You will need a handful of bobby pins for this look so that everything is safely secured. Put the rest of your pony tail into a messy bun. Once you are done flat iron your bangs to make them look messy but sleek.

If you try this and it just doesn’t seem right, and if you are like me and are badly in need of a trim, another option is clip in bangs. Make sure your hair color matches so it doesn’t look obvious. Set the look with Oribe’s Superfine Hairspray and you are ready to go.
