The two-finger ring obsession hasn’t faded away as many fine jewelers are seriously warming up to the idea of two-finger, across and over-the-finger rings.
With designers rolling out pretty designs in all imaginable colors and a variety of styles, here are some of the designs that we quite fancy.
Garrard’s Wings collection has a beautiful series of wing inspired jewels, including across-the-finger classic rings in 18k gold adorned with a full pavé of brilliant and rose-cut white diamonds. Independent designers like Arman Suciyan, Wendy Yue, Farah Khan, AnnoushkaDucas, Elise Drayand even the likes of Lalique now offer stunning options for two-finger rings. An eye-catching piece worth mentioning is Lydia Courteille’sclever version of a two-finger ring, which has a cute little brown-diamond adorned monkey clutching a rock crystal ball. If you love insects, check out AzzaFahmy’s winged Khepri scarab ring in 18k gold and silver with fine filigree. It features the ‘Khepri’ beetle representing transformation in Ancient Egypt with its wings protecting the wearer. Need some drama? Try Stephen Webster’s Crystal Haze open and two-finger rings, or Nikos Koulis’ Fontana collection, which has a two-finger swan ring and sort of an across-the-finger winged motif ring.
