It all started with the Dionysus Milan a special edition bag that Gucci released in December. But much to our surprise, eight other dynamic cities have been added to the luxurious family, hence constituting an entire collection of exclusive international handbags.

From Rome, New-York, London, Paris, Shanghai, Hong Kong to Tokyo and Dubai, the lusciously exclusive bags have made it from one end of the world to the other.

Known for its tiger-head closure, the bag was mainly inspired by the Greek god Dionysus, hence becoming the house’s most sought-after design. Combining a much-wanted modernized take on the Gucci G pattern with the unique GG Supreme material, each city bag exudes a different aura, epitomized by distinguished decorations, such as starfish and dragonflies for the Dubai edition and a snake and roses for the London edition. One thing uniting them is an embroidered leather patch featuring a bee motif along with the name of the dedicated city. The patches harbor colors as follows: rose for Tokyo, bougainvillea for New York, aqua for Rome, green for Dubai, burgundy for Hong Kong, white for Paris, red for Shanghai and blue for London.

Available only at the flagship Gucci stores of these dynamic cities starting January 2016, the Dionysus City Bags will be released in limited quantities, so hurry up and get yours!
