Launched in 2014, Hermès’ Faubourg timepiece has a new take on leather straps. Paying tribute to the house that has always been known for its luxurious leather goods, the Faubourg Manchette’s small case is dressed in the finest kinds of leathers that come in a wide range of colors.
The rose-gold case is supplied with an alligator strap in havane, red, black, ultraviolet, geranium or grey, while the steel case comes with electric blue, iris, orange or red calfskin strap. In both cases, the leather appears as an extension of the case and acts like a second skin when worn on the wrist. In order to accentuate the watch’s pure lines, Hermès opted for its signature saddle stitching – making the piece more iconic than ever.
