The coupling resulted in the one and only “Knot sandal” a true handmade wonder which was crafted from glossy plastics.

Interestingly enough, the N°21 designer revealed that this innovative plastic-y approach was fun to work with, because of the opportunity to shape the bow in original ways. The Knot marvels put a spin on standard shoes by pulling off a matte finish chunky sole in contrast to the high-shine industrial material.

According to Dell’Acqua, this collaboration opened new doors to the glamourous world of design, resulting in state-of-the-art sandals. The highlight of it all? Each and every one of them features a uniquely handmade bow, adding a touch of exclusivity.
