With the Arab world making its mark in the fashion scene, Nuun Jewels’ founder HRH Princess Nourah Al Faisal is definitely a part of the Arab designers that are spreading their creativity all over the world.
Finding her inspiration in the middle of the Arabian Desert across the Najd region, the talented designer unveiled Tuwaiq by Nuun collection and paid homage to the inventiveness of nature and its geological wonders. In a blend of material and graphism, this collection’s name is reminiscent of the escarpment that sees spectacular rock formations with hidden fossils and layers of limestone and sandstone. “Tuwaiq” pieces mix between rose gold, diamonds and howlite in a modern take on high jewelry.
“I am always amazed by Nature and its versatility, be it lush gardens or arid canyons,” explains Nourah Al Faisal. “Howlite and included diamonds remind me of Tuwaiq. They have the modernity and the graphic quality I was looking for.”
Moving to fine jewelry, Nuun Jewels also introduces Ginkgo and Fougère Ombre pieces, after the success of the first Ombre collection, in black gold and diamonds. While the fan shape takes over Ginkgo creations, the Fougère earrings reflect the beauty of a leaf moving with the winds.
