The Italian luxury house Bottega Veneta is granting Dubai the honor of being the first stop of the installations’ worldwide tour, entitled “Behind the Intrecciato”. Set in the heart of The Dubai Mall from the 18th till the 27th of February, from 3pm to 9pm, the lavish installation will attest to the brand’s intricate craftsmanship and will also provide valuable insight into the world of the symbolic bags: the Knot, the Cabat and the Veneta.
The travelling installation invites guests to relish in a deep-rooted exploration of the house’s staple motif, simply by defining the balance between the historical background, the groundbreaking design and modernistic functionality. It’s a one of a kind chance for visitors to discover new Bottega Veneta heights, guided by a talented artisan.
Each and every bag holds a different meaning; the Cabat, the first bag to be designed by creative director Tomas Maier is a symbol of the house’s craftsmanship, while the Knot is a concrete version of undying creativity. Finally, the Veneta was created to reflect the house’s boundless commitment to its native Veneto region. From here, four recurrent principles have tamed this Italian philosophy, ranging from excellent expertise, a state-of-the-art design, a modernistic functionality and high-end materials.
Marking the house’s 50th anniversary as well as Tomas Maier’s 15th year as the brand’s creative director, this significant installment will broaden the fashion world’s horizon in the simplest of ways.
