The art of fusion needs a sense of creativity and rich expertise and Hublot is no stranger to these two elements. This year, the brand launched two new limited-edition series Big Bang Broderie 41MM and Big Bang Broderie Sugar Skull 41MM, proving that luxury is both a philosophy and a style.

The two novelties are a blend of femininity and innovation, making for a new icon in the history of Hublot. Speaking to an independent woman that has style, these timepieces gather high-tech materials and traditional expertise. Denim, ceramic, carbon and resin come together in an exceptional watch that builds a bridge between the past and the future. Hublot has won the prestigious Ladies’ Watch Prize at the 2015 Geneva Grand Prix de l’Horlogerie for its creativity in mixing between haute couture, fashion and lingerie in such a piece.

For the embroidery, Hublot turned to the master of this Swiss expertise, Bischoff. Inspired by the embroidery of Saint-Gall, this detailing goes modern and takes part in three runs of 200 pieces.

Turquoise, navy blue, pale pink, fuchsia, yellow, orange and violet are lit with Lurex threads, silver or gold in the Big Bang 41MM broderie Sugar Skull, which draws inspiration from the lines on the catwalks for the 2016 season. It features a skull motif with 11 red spinels and arabesques on the strap in a bold mix of colors. While the black ceramic case comes with a bezel set with 36 red spinels, the steel version is adorned with 36 pink sapphires and the red gold one with 36 blue sapphires.

This year, the Big Bang Broderie line sees the addition of steel, ceramic and yellow gold. The web-like material is embroidered in black or silver Lurex on glossy silk. Depicting the sensual spirit of lingerie, black is for ceramic, silver for steel and golden for the yellow gold.
