Walt Disney encouraged us to dream beyond our imaginations and Dolce & Gabbana did just that with their 'Fabulous Fantasy' show. The show invitation gave a hint of what was to come as it played fairytale tunes when opened. Sleeping Beauty's bed, Cinderella's carriage, pumpkins and a clock, Aladdin's carpet and a life-size fairytale book all displayed on a black and white check runway, set the scene for a collection of Couture-worthy clothes.

The fantasy was there in the broken mirrored effect dress worn with clear 'glass' slippers; a gold carriage handbag; Disney fairytale motifs on tailored black dresses and high-waisted pencil skirts, exaggerated princess puffed sleeves and crowns of jacquard headbands with oversized buckles and bows.

The signature finale saw a happy procession of short sparkling dresses in pinks and silver... perfect for the modern day princess.
