Chunky oversized knit beanies, extra-long scarves that swept playfully along the runway, ankle socks, high-heeled sandals and those Missoni signature geometric prints woven into edgy patchwork knits... Angela Missoni showed us how to do cool the luxury way.
The show moved from fun and grungy for day to sexy and boho for night. A 70's style maxi dress in sea blue was styled under a skinny fit floor sweeping purple cardigan and teamed with Missoni print trainers. It was all about Lurex and layering when it came to Missoni's take on sexy-chic evening wear. Suiting had a rock-n-roll feel to it, from the double breasted jacket with slinky flared trousers to the belted cardigan jacket and striped lurex leggings.
It was irreverent and eclectic, something for everyone and a reminder that the brand has been reigning supreme on knitwear since 1953 and still going strong.
