Brigitte Bardot
An aspiring ballerina in early life, this French actress, singer and fashion model started her career in 1952 and reached international fame 5 years later with the film “And God Created Woman”. Catching the attention of French intellectuals, she was the subject of Simone de Beauvoire’s 1959 essay, “The Lolita Syndrome”. The latter described her as a “locomotive of women’s history”, which lead to her being declared as the first and most liberated woman of post-war France. After starring in 47 films and recording over 60 songs, she retired from the entertainment industry in 1973. Described in the 50s and 60s as the world’s most beautiful woman, she stood out by her distinctive and iconic style.

Audrey Hepburn
This British actress and humanitarian was always recognized as a film and fashion icon. Coming from Hollywood’s Golden Age, she was ranked by the American Film Institute as the third greatest female screen legend and has made it to the International Best Dressed List Hall of Fame. After she starred in the 1951 Broadway play “Gigi”, she gained stardom for playing the lead role in 1953 “Roman Holiday”, for which she was the first actress to win an Academy Award, a Golden Globe and a BAFTA Award for a single performance.

Grace Kelly
This American actress, who became Princess of Monaco after marrying Prince Rainier III, started her career at the age of 20 in 1950. She became famous for her performance in the film “Mogambo”, which won her a Golden Globe Award and an Academy Award nomination. Being a princess, it’s no surprise that Kelly always had impeccable iconic style with a classic and sophisticated twist, which inspired the house of Hermès to name one of its most popular bags “the Kelly”.

The American actress and model was Hollywood’s most famous star and was known for her feminine curves and sultry look. Soon after she started her career in modeling, she caught the eye of 20th Century Fox executive Ben Lyon and launched her cinematic career.
