It was a very private affair for what is rumored to be Hedi Slimane's last show for Saint Laurent held at the Hôtel Sénecterre, which is in fact the house's Salon de Couture. This, it turned out was a Haute Couture show and not prêt-à-porter. Each of the guests, including Pierre Bergé and Catherine Deneuve, had their name engraved on the brass plates of their seats. The catwalk was the black and white marble floor that led down from the majestic staircase.

The music-free show had an 80s punk meets 70s disco diva meets Batman fantasy feel and opened with a modern smoking. Each look was introduced by number. It was all about statement asymmetric shoulders on sexy micro-mini dresses. The color palette switched from all black to jeweled tones like a purple fur coat or fuschia sequin catsuit, to a Black Swan inspired mini tutu dress. Models wore black stiletto heeled courts and punk-rock earrings. The show closed with love: a micro black dress and a red fur heart-shaped coat.
