It’s official; the famed Bouchra Jarrar was confirmed as Lanvin’s newest creative director. Following Alber Elbaz’s removal, the House was temporarily wavering on shaky ground, but seems to have found its footing now in the beautifully minimalistic designs of Jarrar.

With a rich portfolio of endeavors- including her work at Christian Lacroix Couture, under Nicolas Ghesquière and then the creation of her own Haute Couture line- the French designer is bound to add her intricate attention to detail and tailoring to the House.

She will be presenting her first collection for Lanvin's Spring/Summer 2017.
