The jam-packed week of shows has come to an end with the beautiful collections of Rani Zakhem, Alberto Zambelli, Jordy Fu, ChristianoBurani and Lamya Abedin. One thing’s for sure, anyone who appreciates fine artistry and intricate handcrafting will definitely love these latest offerings.

The soirée witnessed its debut with Rani Zakhem’s wondrous collection of dramatic dresses, where pleats, bows and ruffles took the stage by storm. It was indeed the perfect kick-off for the perfect closing night!

Along came Alberto Zambelli, whose collection was nothing short of an abstract entry. His coats, furry capes ad ruffle-y designs added even more flavor to what’s surely one of the most urban pop collection we’ve spotted on the runway.

Yu Jordy Fu struck back with her staple geometric designs, only this time alluring to the futuristic department, with elegance and grace, perfectly swaying on a pastel continuum.

And what do you give the ladies who can’t get enough of sparkles? More glitters and more glow. Cristiano Burani’sjoie de vivre was mostly apparent through his velvet boots and leather numbers, splashing around in an innovative bubble.

Lamya Abedin’s collection spoke just as strongly to young customers as it did to more-established viewers and it was downright sumptuous. Picture a 1920s theme mixed with glowing gowns and eccentric beads. Being both the classic queen and the professional chameleon that she is, the Emirati designer brought back the vintage Victorian fury in a much-needed modernistic outlook.

And that’s a wrap for the amazing Arab Fashion Week! Scroll through our Photo Gallery to see the closing of the four-day extravaganza.
