Echoed by irreverent elegance and blatant sophistication, the beautiful Diala Makki graced Monte Carlo’s Bal De La Rose with her presence on Saturday March 19th. Held at the heart of the Sporting Club Salle Des Etoiles with a setup specifically created by the great Karl Lagerfeld, the ball was prestigiously hosted by His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco and Princess Caroline of Hanover.
Sumptuously organized by Société Des Bains De Mer, Le Bal De La Rose sticks to royal protocol as it raises funds for the Grace Kelly foundation, while all proceeds go to young artistic talents.
As the most high profile socialites attended this magical evening, journalist and fashion icon Diala Makki was not only depicted as the Société Des Bains De Mer’s official guest, but also the first star to represent the Arab world, as part of a timeless quest to bring together the Middle Eastern region with the philanthropic international canvas.
The brunette looked every inch glamourous in a royal blue Rami Al Ali SS16 couture dress and showed off her abiding charisma in a couture inspired Roger Dubuis Blossom Velvet watch, the staple Plume de Paon Boucheron earrings and a green Sara’s Bag clutch. She captivated Monaco’s glamorous scene with her perfectly gorgeous make-up done by the International team of Dior beauty.
Being their regional muse, Diala Makki chose Roger Dubuis’ Blossom Velvet watch to complete her gown and celebrated with the brand the Year of Velvet Diva. This exquisite timepiece added to the sensuality of her look with its white gold case set with two rows of diamonds that surrounded the ever-so-elegant and artistic mother-of-pearl dial.
That said, the sultry fashionista had her 48 hour-trip to Monaco documented by the French Channel M6, making her exclusive attendance a celebrated happening and a groundbreaking Middle-Eastern endeavor. Diala Makki is truly reaching for the stars and Monaco was clearly swept away by her raw and restless magnetism.
