A human-sized glass cage, wild plants, a fury of flamingos and well-groomed models; could Gucci’s new Pre-Fall 2016 campaign get any more botanical? Shot through the lens of photographer Glen Luchford and under the direction of Alessandro Michele and Christopher Simmonds, the campaign takes shape in swaying movements and in an elaborate whirlpool of colors and textures. Looking as fierce as ever, models were depicted gallivanting around a fauna-meets-flora backdrop, beautifully portraying the House’s uncontrollable style. The campaign just keeps getting bigger and bigger as characters dance around in a care-free and liberated movement, drawing attention to unconventional yet curious youth.
As shots are on point, Alessandro Michele has once again developed a spontaneous formula where fashion passionately interacts with tropical fury.
