With such a rich history in creating legendary footwear, Salvatore Ferragamo has decided to reproduce its iconic shoes in the shape of necklaces. After Rainbow, Red, Honey, Carmen, Butterfly, Renaissance, Poppea and Damigella, five new pendants join Salvatore Ferragamo Jewels’ Miniature Preziose collection to reflect the long-lasting Italian expertise.
Inspired by a wood sandal created by Salvatore Ferragamo in 1943, the Wood Sandal necklace sees a skillful mosaic decoration. The Kimo pendant is inspired by the shoe that the brand has designed in 1951 for the first Italian fashion show at Palazzo Pitti in collaboration with Emilio Schuberth and by the famed Japanese Tabi shoes. While the famous and ultra-modern shoe made by Fiamma Ferragamo in 1978 is behind the Miss Vara necklace, the iconic Red pendant finds its inspiration in the shoe Salvatore Ferragamo designed for Marilyn Monroe.
