Before Baselworld offers us more showstopper timepieces, we’d like to talk about some interesting ones unveiled at the Salon International De La Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) in January.
SIHH is the time to celebrate creativity and expertise. So, Jaeger-LeCoultre decided to celebrate its Reverso’s 85th anniversary in style by bringing out a stellar creation –Reverso Tribute Gyrotourbillon. The platinum model, featuring an open-worked back dial, is a limited edition 75-piece series.
Talking about anniversaries, IWC Schaffhausen celebrated a special occasion this year. The year 2016 marks the 80th anniversary of the start of the Pilot’s Watch production. If you are a fan of the Pilot series, the IWC Pilot Automatic 36 might interest you, and more so if you have a slim wrist.
A departure from their usual style, Franck Muller’s new collection entitled Galet owes its design aesthetics to nature, as its Galet series features watches with gentle angles. The collection comes in different watch sizes for men and women.
Zenith enriched its collection with a new chronograph, Elite Chronograph Classic, equipped with the renowned El Primero movement (El Primero Calibre 4069). Available in steel or rose gold casing, this watch spells understated elegance.
Cartier turns to the Clé de Cartier 2015 model and revisits the design in a seriously innovative way by developing an automatic movement that blends into a skeletonized architecture. How cool is that? The Clé de Cartier Automatic Skeleton watch is a must-have if you are a watch lover.
Baume et Mercier, Bulgari, Chopard, Roger Dubuis, Ulysse Nardin and Vacheron Constantin, among others, have some smart timepieces. Check these out in our gallery.
