What Eyeliner Suits your Eye Shape Best?

All eyes look beautiful when made up with eyeliner, but some eyeliner techniques accentuate the shape of our eyes and bring out their beauty more than others. If the eyeliner is well applied, it can make all the difference in your final look.

Wondering what eyeliner suits your eye shape best? Below is our guide to make your eyes look even more stunning than they already are.

1 – Almond eyes are perhaps the most common. If you have ones, draw a thin line from the inner corner of the eye to the outer corner then build the thickness on the outer third. To add a wing, draw a line from the outer corner upwards then join the existing line creating a triangular shape. Fill in the triangle then join the two sections together.

2 – If you have round eyes, draw a thin line on the outer two thirds of the upper lash line. Then create a long winged shape to make them look longer.

3 – Small eyes need to be widened, so avoid applying dark eyeliner on your bottom waterline.  Draw a thin line on your top lash line and on the outer corner of your bottom lash line.

4 – Big eyes allow you to play around with a lot of liner looks. You can easily line your top and bottom waterlines and apply eyeliner to the bottom lash line.

5 – If you have monolids, start off with a thin line then thicken it as you go along. In addition, you are extremely lucky as your eyes are perfect for a dramatic winged liner.

6 – As hooded lids make your eyes look smaller, you need to opt for an eyeliner shape that makes them look bigger. Apply liner between the roots of your lashes and make sure you thicken the liner at the outer corner of the eye.
