Wearing sneakers with a formal attire- and still looking chic- was all the rage this season for women out there. So why wouldn’t men want to try out this trend, perhaps with a more classic outfit, such as a suit maybe!
It looks sophisticated, minimalist and not to mention ravishingly good! So while everyone is expecting you to sport dress shoes with your suit, it wouldn’t hurt to break the rules once in a blue moon, would it? But before you go all crazy with this trend, make sure you follow these 5 simple guidelines.
- It wouldn’t hurt to match your shirt to your shoes so as to create a recurrent pattern.
- Please, do not put on a pair of running shoes in any case whatsoever. We’ve got three words for you: respect the suit.
- Keep it very simple, the look is already eccentric as it is, you don’t need to add another layer of crazy to it.
- Choose a slim-fitted suit to balance out the “slacky”. You’re not preparing yourself for a basketball game, so please, stick to a silhouette-worthy look.
- Finally, pick classic materials, in this case leather or suede, as to add a bit of finesse to the already-edgy sneakers.
