Tiffany & Co.’s creations were never constrained by convention and the 2016 Masterpieces collection is no exception. This season, design director Francesca Amfitheatrof creates masterworks that belong to the world of imagination and perfectly express the brand’s rich heritage. In a blend between bold experimentation and spirited design, the collection tackles two themes, Tiffany Prism and Tiffany Ribbons.
“When I work with diamonds and gemstones, I’m constantly drawing from our rich heritage while exploring new ideas that have a timeless, yet modern appeal. Tiffany Masterpieces, like all of our high jewelry collections, symbolize the height of design innovation and experimentation,” says Amfitheatrof.
Tiffany Prism finds its inspiration in the creativity of Louis Comfort Tiffany, the brand’s first design director who was known for his brilliant use of light and color. On another note, the timeless elegance of Audrey Hepburn inspires the Tiffany Ribbons line, in which the classic style comes together with the dramatic feel.
