Well, people of the fashion world, today is your lucky day! We’ve rounded up in the Photo Gallery below the types of shoes you’ve surely hidden in the back of your closet and we’ve added our own little tips to help you keep them radically-albeit joyfully- clean!

Suede shoes

You want to clean up your suede shoes the proper way? There’s only one way to deal with them: leave them to dry and then proceed by scuffing them with a suede brush. If you happen to stumble upon persistent stains, you should consider switching to a suede eraser.

Leather shoes

You have to regularly clean them. Yes, regularly. First of all, use a dry cloth to wipe the dirt away. Your next step will require you to blend some water with salt or lemon juice and then apply it to your shoes by scrubbing gently. Be careful not to get them too wet!

White shoes

Since white shoes are extremely delicate, you should always be careful as to not scrub too hard. Grab a soft cloth mixed with detergent and rub it on your shoes. Once you’ve rinsed the dirt away, proceed by rubbing them with a whitening toothpaste and then by wiping the product off with water.

Canvas shoes

Grab your brush, because things are about to get a tad bit laborious! Dip your brush in some cleaning detergent and softly clean your shoes from any excessive dirt. Next, dip your canvas shoes in warm water and add some more cleaning detergent as to double the effect. Once done, rinse in cool water and leave them to dry!
